Who we are!

“Paint-Your-Pony” was created by Tina Adams, an owner/breeder, of miniature horses for the past ten years.

Tina has successfully bred, and continues to breed, high quality miniature horses which are wonderful show horses as well as service animals when they retire.  Many times after a horse has completed their show career, they need a “job” – what better way for them to finish their life than to be a service animal and fulfill a child’s or adult’s dream.

In the past Tina has donated some of her wonderful service animals to Blessed Assurance (a facility for special adults).  Scarlett is a mare which lives at Blessed Assurance and has a special needs caretaker which loves her and takes care of her on a daily basis.  What a blessing for both human and animal!

In addition, Tina is recognized in the public and private sector of the Kentucky school system for her wonderful “Paint-Your-Pony” program.  Most recently (11) eleven of the miniatures were taken to Bardstown Elementary School for a day with the pre-schoolers.  The 11 miniatures were painted, washed and admired by 155 children.   What an experience the children will never forget.

Tina has a real love for animals.  She has a beautiful farm in Rineyville, Kentucky just outside Elizabethtown.  There the miniature horses, cats and the family dogs, Nikko and Ruby- all of them live in harmony enjoying the beautiful sunrises and sunsets together.

This program is affiliated with several quality retired educators which will be writing children’s curriculum (lessons) as well as short stories to be included in a book series “Sam Hill Series”  books to support each character trait and life skill.

Tina is married to her wonderful husband Terry of 37 years, she is the proud Mother of 4 (one set of twins) and loving grandmother to her grandchildren.  She enjoys quality family time and wishes to share with all children the character traits and lift skills presented with her animals and this program.

Tina welcomes you to her program and looks forward to working with all of her friends who support the Paint-Your-Pony Youth Education Program.

Cordially,
