11th Annual Horsey 5K Run
1.5 Mile Family Walk & Fastest Kid in Town Race
at the Festival of the Horse.
The Salvation Army of Georgetown/Scott County is hosting the 11th Annual HORSEY 5K, 1.5 Mile Family Walk, and Fastest Kid in Town race during the 2012 Festival of the Horse. These events will take place on Saturday, October 6th, beginning at 9 a.m. Proceeds from this event will go to the Salvation Army of Georgetown/Scott County.
Date: Saturday, October 6, 2012
Time: Registration begins at 8 a.m.
Location: Sign up for events at the Museum (old post office) on the corner of Main and Mulberry streets.

5K Race – 9 a.m.
Individuals compete for the best time in our main event.
1.5 Mile Walk – 9 a.m.
Family, Friends, even Pets Welcome! Family fun in our more casual event-kids, runners, babies in strollers, pets on leashes…. Everyone’s invited!
Fastest Kid in Town – 10:30 a.m.Individual races for children ages 1-12
Awards at the conclusion of the races.
