| Man o’ War Stampede: ‘The Mostest Horse that Ever Was’ |
Area youngsters find the Republic Bank’s Colt & Filly Review Parade to be a highlight of the year. Filled with clowns, floats, and horses of course, this parade is the largest held in the community. Hundreds of kids participate in the parade with various athletic teams, school groups and church organizations.
The Colt & Filly Children’s Parade will begin at 6:30 p.m on Friday, September 8th. This year’s theme is “Man o’ War Stampede: ‘The Mostest Horse that Ever Was'”. Those interested in participating in the parade must complete the 2017 Colt and Filly Review Parade Entry Form. All entries will be judged and the winners will be announced the week following the festival.
